Can anyone tell me the brand and model number of the LCD panel used in the 11.6" MacBook air A1370?
Actually I need the exact part of the LCD panel not the entire display assembly.
I think apple uses LP116WH4-TPA1 or AUO B116XW05
But can someone who had replace this or ifixit expert who have teardown the MacBook air 11" please comfirm or state the actual part number of the LCD panel.

"I've found the following model codes for MBA 11" screens:
2010 model
LP116WH4-TPA1 (LG Phillips)
AUO B116XW05 (AU Optronics)
2011 model
LP116WH4-TJA3 (LG Phillips)
AUO B116XW05 V0, v1, v6 (AU Optronics)
LTH116AT01A04 (Samsung)
I don't know if 2011 and 2010 model screens are interchangeable, but you could change them within the same model year, so a LP116WH4-TPA1 would work with a B116XW05."

@mayer : The number #661-5737 is for the display assembly
This command line was useful to verify the tft display model :
ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayEDID | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings −6

This display is pretty expensive on most websites. (±650$).
Fortunately, I found other supplier's websites whose offer is between 42~75$. I'm not sure they can ship for just 1 unit though. I wish I could, I'd better buy a new MBA than pay the repair 650$!

To know the display model number, use the command line above. You can use ssh or vnc with a second computer to navigate in your broken screen MBA.
But I suspect a slightly different version for the mid 2011 model.
NO LUCK WITH THAT DISPLAY : the supplier couldn't send it, explaining "he didn't found the model". Alibaba.com is a big mess. But Escrow.com did the refund seamlessly.
I recommend using Escrow.com and not something else.

I have the lp116wh4tja3 and the one i got on eBay was the b116xw05 V.0, the display shows but not the backlight? Is it because I didn't get the same lp116 one? Or is something wrong with my computer now. It worked on the old original display but it broke when taking it out.

Any luck getting that display? I dropped my phone on it and the computer lost :( Is it the same display as the mid 2011?
