after replacing the screen, I got this issue, white screen with black bar. please advise what the issue might be?? tried press home and power to turn it off then on, same screen.

The LCD display panel has been physically damaged during the screen replacement.
Perhaps from when the glass was being pryed up when opening up the iPad or trying to pry the display panel while the four Phillips head screws were not removed yet.
You'll need to replace the LCD and possibly the digitiser as well as the glass may crack when opening up the iPad again.
