I'm unsure of which wire is which and where it would connect . It has red, blue, green around the gold and white hair like strings inside the cable. Could someone let me know which one is the Left, Right, Mic and Ground? Plus where would they connect?

Take a look at the last picture on the Amazon page that you gave a link to. It shows exactly which wire goes where.

Do you know what colour wire are the R,L,Gnd and mic. There's only three wires Red, Blue and green around the gold.

Did you look at the picture that I attached to my post? It shows that the R is red, the L is green, the mic is blue, and the Gnd is the gold. Let me know if this helps. Thanks.
