i HAVE A PDP-RO6U THAT NO LONGER WORKS. CAN I USE A PRO-RO6U AS A REPLACEMENT?

going by the manual for both of these, yes you can. My suggestion would be that instead of replacing your receiver, try to fix it. After all that is what we are all about, helping others to repair their devices to keep them out of landfills and turning into e-waste.
