Hi,
Here is a link to the service manual for your laptop.
Scroll to p.51 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the WLAN module.
Also on p.51 you will find the part numbers for the various WiFi modules that are suitable for use in the laptop dependent on their configuration. If you search online using the appropriate part number only you will get results for suppliers of the part.

Yes, you could put one in. The laptop does have a mini PCI socket and this ifixit guide, HP Pavillion dm4t-2100 Touchpad Replacement goes deep enough into the computer to replace the card. Just follow the guide to step seven and the rest is pretty much self explanatory. Good Luck!
