Crack in hair dryer
I would like to tape a crack in a hair dryer but want to be sure the tape will not melt or catch fire. What kind of tape is best to use?

@sherylchi for as long as the crack is not near the heating element or the front of the hair dryer, you can use any good duct tape. Of course make sure that you do not occlude the air inlet. If you are unsure you can purchase some heat resistant tape from your local auto parts store. Or, depending on the crack itself, consider using some zip ties to keep it together.

Random trivia. It actually was originally called "duck" tape. The tape was made from "cotton duck cloth", which was a type canvas like cloth, by Johnson and Johnson.
