I dropped my Honor 8 last week and now it randomly will shut off even if the battery shows full. Sometimes it will reset settings on my phone and fail to save documents/pictures. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi Jaret,
it appear that you have been having "quite a few" issues w/ this device. You have raised 2 different questions in the last 3 hours for the same device. frankly, I suggest you replace it w/ a new device, or you could have it repaired but considering the possible cost to cover for the motherboard and possibly the LCD (based on your other post) It might be more practical just to get a new one.

@volcob007 this is a student who is doing a project for school if you look at her profile you will see this https://www.ifixit.com/User/2175922/Jare... when working the forum its best to check the profile so you don't waste time on these questions There not actual problems . there will be a Student Instructions logo on there profile . They usually ask a lot of questions about the same device.
Oh I see... Im quite new to this forum and I didn't know that some people actually discuss theoretical issue...to make actual instructions for fixing stuff.

I noticed you posted back in 2015 on lens fungas . I work in farm robotics that have laser location cameras and we have a lot of problem with this and was wondering f I could get more info on eradicating the fungas after it has been burnt into the lens by the laser or if you ave any insite into this
