Is this the ssd version or hard disc? If its the hard disc will it power up does it click? If it clicks you can make it work enough to recover data. This video may help

Try to be as clean as possible when preforming the task of opening the hard drive . Try to keep dust to a minimum.

It is possible the data can be recoverable, however you need to make sure NOT to plug it in anymore and send it to a Certified data recovery company for help. mobdro app

Did you fix a fix?
Hello, today I dropped my 1TB Western Digital MyPassport, the cover came apart and the drive was exposed. It re-assembled just fine, it switches on when plugged in just fine, it sounds how it ordinarily would when plugged in, but is not loading on Windows and is no longer accessible via the Windows File Explorer.
I can select the option to safely remove the USB device however, which is strange. So essentially the OS recognises it in that regard, but the files themselves can't be accessed...
Not sure if this would affect it, but it was nearly full to capacity with only a few GB free.
Can anyone provide advice on what I should do, or know of a good recovery provider in London UK?
