I broke my keyboard connector on the mother board

I have been having problems with my MacBook Pro 15in mid 2010 shutting off on me randomly while using it so I replaced the battery and installed a Samsung 850 evo 500gb SSD. The computer was shutting off a lot less frequently until I upgraded the RAM to 16gb and at first it was flying until it shut off and didn't want to boot back up (I had black and white "code" coming over the gray screen). I have read a couple posts about the 15in only being able to take 8gb RAM and not 16gb when the 13in can take 16gb RAM? That is not my main concern though, I put the stock 4gb RAM back in and proceeded to replace my thermal paste on the CPU and GPU hoping that would stop it from shutting off randomly. While clumsily removing the logic board I broke off a small piece of the connector for the keyboard ribbon cable (I'm an idiot). I found what I believe to be the correct replacement connector online for $6 but is it possible to solder a new connector onto the motherboard? If it is possible where do I take it to get done and how much should it cost? (I live in south Florida)
