I recently damaged my hdmi pins and I need to purchase a replacement motherboard for my DMC-FZ1000. Do you know where I can purchase the part? Do you know what the part number is? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, Are you sure that you need a motherboard? Looking at the Ifixit guide for a motherboard replacement for the FZ-1000 it appears that the HDMI connector may be attached to the motherboard via a flex cable connection. I may be wrong but there doesn't appear to be a HDMI connector mounted on the motherboard. If you can find one it should be definitely cheaper than a motherboard.

Found this if you have the DMC FZ-1000-4K which looks different to the one in the guide and the HDMI port is mounted on it.

The HDMI connector is indeed on the main board, but in the guide it's not really visible since it's on the reverse side of the board. The board for sale on ebay is (visually, at least) identical.

I zoomed close into the pictures on the motherboard replacement page trying to find a model number with no luck...nothing helpful was popping up on Google too. Glad you were able to come up with some leads! :-)

For what is is worth I believe the part number to be Panasonic EH 0820. When you place this in a search, it always comes up with Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ1000 4K Main Board Processor Repair Part EH0820. Whether this is just for the processor or the entire board I'm not sure. Unfortunately though there were no results with any boards actually available! (or processors either for that matter)
Also have you thought about just getting the HDMI port replaced. If you can access your motherboard just to see what particular type of HDMI port is being used. (I think it is a micro HDMI connector - the important thing is what type of 'lug' arrangement it has - it varies. The lugs hold the connector to the board and ease the strain on the actual wiring connections) If you can get a replacement connector you may be able to find a reputable, professional electronics repair centre which has the necessary skills and tools to perform surface mount replacement procedures.
Hopefully this is of some help.

To close the loop on this, I purchased a DMC-FZ1000 replacement motherboard from Encompass (Part# SEP0093AA). Here's the link: https://www.encompassparts.com/item/1029.... It took nearly a month for the part to arrive, but it eventually did and was in excellent, unused condition. It was easy to swap out the motherboard following the instructions from the iFixIt site. Anyway, I should have added this information sooner. I hope it helps someone out there.
