whenever I try to restore my idevice it gives me error -1

well when i was jailbroken i tried to restore through settings-general-reset-and erase all content and settings and then it just stayed in the apple logo and loading bar so i just put my idevice in recovery mode and tried to restore through the latest version of itunes but it always stop at the end of the part were it said restoring firmware then it gave me error -1

jake lopter, check to make sure that you do not have any security software that is interfering with itunes. After that you definitely want to try restoring the phone on a different computer.
