That is a recovery install failure error.
You may need another copy of your disk.

I got another set of recovery disks from Acer, still having the same error code show up . I put my own password ln for f-2. how do I return it back to default setting? Maybe that might make a difference

I have a acer aspire to and i had the same problem i had corrupted or missing files try running a system scan i use sfc/scannow/f in the command prompt admin that will check your system files and repair broken or missing files also run a antivirus programm that worked for me.
