iPhone 4s is stuck @ Recovery Mode, cant start iPhone

Hello,

I got an iPhone, that wont start up and stucked in Recovery Mode since I was trying to restore it, because I had some problems with the software.

iPhone was working without any problems, before restoring.

What I already tried?

-changed PC

-changed iTunes version

-restore while in DFU mode

-change battery (according to some sources, it was the problem, didnt help in my case)

-configured hosts file

-tried different usb port

-tried different usb cable

As you can see, I tried many things, to solve this problem, but I still get every time at about 70% of restoring progress the error 29.

I just dont know, what I can do.

Hi,

I believe that the error 29 comes down to a damaged or non-functioning power/charging circuit.

On the iPhone 4S, there are a total of 6 small passives (resistors and capacitors) to the right of the battery connector. These are typically damaged as the battery is removed, or because the flathead screwdriver slips and knocks one off. These components are shown on the following picture (Yellow circle):

Please make sure that none of these components are damaged, i.e. blown or missing.

thanks for your answer.

I think you´re right, because I changed battery several times, and this might damage some components.

Can you explain what hes doing in the video?

I just see him touch the components with a screwdriver.
