Fixed RROD an now wont read any disk after installing new eye can some one please help me out that it would be great

I'm curious why you disassembled the dvd drive when repairing the RROD?
As Michael asked, the ribbon cable coming off the laser may not be inserted all the way. If you replaced the laser, there is an anti-static solder point that has to be removed as well.

Lol I have been working on xboxs awhile now
It had a video error I fixed it then it told me rrod.
So I got the kit fixed it an then it wouldn't read disks.
So I swaped the eye with a new one an it says reading.
I took the solder joint off it an its the samething.
I noticed the ribbon had a small tear so I got another one
An put it in an still the same thing. Everthang checks out.
May my solder joint is not off completely or something

I use a braid to remove the solder joint.

i have 5 new eyes an not work it just says reading but wont play im lost

Have you verified all connections were made once putting back together? Does any of the items looked damaged?
