Will not boot/Black screen
I have a late 2006 white 20" Intel 2.16 iMac that will not boot. LCD stays black and there is no chime during the boot process. The first 2 diagnostic LED's both come on but the 3rd never lights up. I have attempted to hook an external monitor up and still no video is displayed. At this point I have replaced the logic board, the inverter, and the power supply. Any thoughts on where to go from here? Is it the LCD display itself of a possible dead CPU?
Es esta una buena pregunta?

I replaced the RAM with known working and had the same result. I also went ahead and replaced the processor and still no luck. Would a failed hard drive show this same symptom? I would think I would at least get some sort of video output. Would a dead LCD screen cause this to fail to boot?

Can you explain what you did in more detail.All things you have changed.

You suggest that 1174 iMac's still exist. I will believe it when I see one. Are there fuses in the logic (mother) board in this model. Can you bake it in the oven to fix it?
== Update ==
Memtest is nice. When I used seatools it seemed they verify that a hard drive is working if you can create a folder on it or read the contents of a folder. They go way into details if you have a microsoft based PC. Oh yea update-there is a guy who has two working 1174's at teckwaste recycles in santa ana CA. Am I surprised
