Can you replace the battery connector on the logic board?

So I do my own electronic fixes using YouTube, Google, iFixit, etc.

Recently I replaced the midframe on my Verizon iPhone 5. In the final steps, while connecting the battery to the logic board, I broke the plastic edge on the side facing the right. Now the battery won't charge and when connected to power, it powers on for about five seconds to the apple logo, then shuts off, only to repeat itself over and over. Can you take the connector off the logic board and put a new one on? I didn't see any way when I was looking at it.

You can do it, but it is very hard and requires microsoldering. Also, you would need to be able to find the part.

I have the clip. I just didn't know if you could do it. I can solder, but I've never done micro-soldering and I believe that this project is out pf my skill range. Haha. I'll have to look into it. Thank you.

Battery connector replacements are very quick and easy once you've done a few and learned things the hard way a few times---if you have the right equipment --easy. If not, get the guy who does have the right equipment to do it for you--$20 on eBay specialty services
