How do I rerest my iPhone 4s?

I cant use my PC to do it and Im locked out of my iPhone 4s. how do u manually rest. I started taking apart my iPhone 4s i just need to know what to do to reset it back to factory stings.

Plug in iTunes now press power button and home at the same time til the screen turn off when that happens take ur finger of the power button but keep the home button press. You will hear a few beeps from the PC and it will come up on iTunes that it needs restored! Set it up as new iphone
