Searching after LCD Repair

I've replaced the full housing on one of my customer's iphone 4S with a new gold one LCD battery cover and home button and it wont stop searching for service it wont say "no Service" or show a carrier its just searching constantly. It's a GSM and i've replaced the antenna and that hasn't worked at all if there's anyone that could help it'd be greatly appreciated.

Also could it be the housing itself causing this problem?

When you say full housing I'm assuming that means a color conversion kit and includes full front and back, I have done this numerous times in my shop and have had reception problems after installation usually with the Electrolux kits, I would replace the old screen and see if that fixes it, it has every time I had this problem, good luck, If this answer was helpful please remember to mark it accepted

Thank you I felt that could be the problem because i've had this happen with a 3GS and that was the problem but I wanted to get a second opinion on the matter again Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also i no longer possess the old housing would a new one do?

Yes, again I caution anyone to stay away from the Electrolox kits so I would go with OEM, in fact if I do a color conversion in my shop of any kind I tell the customer up front that its their risk, good luck.

I've replaced a few phones that, when finished, would just say 'Searching...' All the times I've asked the customers, they said that they deactivated the phone and switched to a different phone while their iPhone is getting fixed.

I believe it will say 'Searching...' when the owner of the phone has deactivated the phone. There is nothing internally wrong with it.

I have had a customer come in with this problem. Searching and time / date not working. So after checking all connections etc and resetting the phone we logged the phone in to our wi-fi network and it connected and updated time /date. customer happy.

please try this & if it works please rate my answer
