Which 12" PB Parts are Compatable

I currently have a 12" PB model A1010, which is in great cosmetic shape, but is obviously getting a bit slow.

I am currently bidding a 12" PB model #A1104 which is functioning properly, but, is in dire condition cosmetically, among a few other issues.

My question is, is the casing interchangeable between the A1010 and the A1104. Also, the Power plug, on the A1104 is not great, So I was curious as to whether or not, this could easily be changed as well. Not the DC-DC board, just the plug.

My thought was to replace the innards of the 867 frame with the 1.5 GHZ, using the screen, and power adapter from the earlier version.
