Replacing the battery (OPTION B)

  • You need to wire them in Parallel (i.e. 1s3p pack).

  • Two unprotect will be wired to the JBL BMS board. I solder the black wire to the B+ and the red wire to the B-.

  • To keep the next replacement easier, I only connect the battery by twisting the color coded wires together and wrapping them with electrical tape.

  • One unprotected cell will be in the original battery compartment inside the cell holder (as shown) connect to one side of the BMS board.

  • Two cells will be inside the speaker compartment behind the Bass Radiator. The unprotected one (right hand side radiator) will connect directly to the BMS board.

  • The protected one (after I open and rearrange the PCB of the battery for a better fit into the speaker compartment) will connect parallel to the protected one from other side of the bass radiator.

Sostituzione della batteria (OPZIONE B)

È necessario cablarle in parallelo (cioè 1s3p).

Due non protette saranno collegate alla scheda BMS della JBL. Saldo il filo nero al B+ e il filo rosso al B-.

Per facilitare la sostituzione successiva, collego la batteria attorcigliando i fili codificati per colore e avvolgendoli con del nastro isolante.

Una cella non protetta si troverà nel vano batteria originale all'interno dell'alloggio batteria (come mostrato) collegato ad un lato della scheda BMS.

Due batterie saranno all'interno del compartimento dell'altoparlante dietro i diffusori dei bassi. Quella non protetta (dalla parte del diffusore di destra) si collegherà direttamente alla scheda BMS.

Quella protetta (dopo aver aperto e risistemato la PCB della batteria per un migliore inserimento nel vano dei diffusori) si collegherà in parallelo a quella protetta dall'altro lato del diffusore dei bassi.
