Remove the buttons

Flip the front case over so the buttons fall out onto your work surface.
Alternatively, use tweezers to remove individual action buttons or the directional buttons.
During reassembly, use the alignment tabs to orient each button into its recess. Each one is keyed specifically for its recess and proper orientation.
