Disconnect the power button

  • Use blunt nose tweezers to grip the cable close to the head and pull it away from its ZIF connector slowly and steadily to separate the coating.

  • If the coating feels stubborn, reheat the connector and try again.

  • Gripping the tweezers closer to the tip can help you get a tighter hold on the cable.

  • Keep pulling on the cable until the cable comes completely out of its socket.

  • During reassembly:

  • Inspect the head of the cable and the ZIF connector for any remaining coating that could prevent a good connection.

  • Peel off the coating—heating the cable and the ZIF connector when the coating becomes too brittle.

  • It doesn't have to look pretty! You just need to remove enough coating to have the cable sit properly in its connector.

Desconecta el botón de encendido

Utiliza unas pinzas sin punta para agarrar el cable cerca del cabezal y separarlo de su conector ZIF despacio y con firmeza para separar el revestimiento.

Si el revestimiento se resiste, recalienta el conector e inténtalo de nuevo.

Agarrar las pinzas más cerca de la punta puede ayudarte a sujetar el cable con más fuerza.

Sigue tirando del cable hasta que éste salga completamente de su alojamiento.

Durante el montaje:

Inspecciona la cabeza del cable y el conector ZIF en busca de restos de revestimiento que pudieran impedir una buena conexión.

Despega el revestimiento, calentando el cable y el conector ZIF cuando el revestimiento se vuelva demasiado quebradizo.

No tiene por qué quedar bonito. Sólo tienes que eliminar el recubrimiento suficiente para que el cable se asiente correctamente en su conector.
