Remove the stretch release adhesive

  • The next two steps show how to remove a battery that's secured by stretch release adhesive.

  • Use tweezers to pull on the battery adhesive strip's pull tab until you can grip it with your fingers.

  • While holding the battery in place, pull the strip out slowly and steadily at a low angle. Give it plenty of time to stretch and un-stick from under the battery.

  • You can also wrap the adhesive strip around a spudger and "roll" it for a more consistent pull.

  • If the adhesive strip breaks off, try to retrieve it using your fingers and continue pulling—but don’t pry under the battery.

  • If you can't retrieve a strip, don't worry! Remove as much adhesive as possible and skip down two steps for an alternate method.

Verwijder de uitrekbare kleefstrips

Gebruik een pincet om de treklip van de kleefstrip onder de batterij weg te trekken tot je deze met je vingers vast kunt pakken.

Trek de strip langzaam maar zeker weg terwijl je de batterij met je andere hand vasthoudt. Trek de strip in een zo klein mogelijk hoek weg en geef het voldoende tijd om uit te rekken en onder de batterij los te komen.

Je kunt de strip ook om een spudger heen wikkelen, zodat het makkelijker is een consistente trekkracht uit te oefenen.

Als een van de kleefstrips afbreekt, probeer je de strip opnieuw vast te pakken met je vingers (of een pincet) en ga je verder met trekken. Wrik de batterij niet omhoog om een strip opnieuw te pakken te krijgen!

Geen paniek als het je niet lukt een afgebroken kleefstrip weer te pakken te krijgen! Verwijder zo veel mogelijk lijm en sla deze twee stappen over voor een alternatieve methode.
