If you have noticed water leakage inside your Samsung Refrigerator, and you don’t know where it came from, you likely have an ice buildup in the draining well. It is likely that the old evaporating clip is not doing justice and caused an ice buildup which led to the leakage.
If you notice leakage, it is important to complete this replacement as soon as possible. Water leakage in places with electronic components can cause your refrigerator to short out and can even lead to fires.
This fix does not require any special skills. As long as you follow the guide with all safety precautions, you will be able to perform a successful replacement of the evaporating clip in your Samsung Refrigerator.
Be sure to unplug and empty the refrigerator before disassembling.

Replace the old clip with a new evaporating clip.
Here's a YouTube video of the same fix https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwSSMF6S...
Note that the YouTube video just calls this an ice dam that can be fixed by disassembling and melting the dam. It isn't a permanent fix but uses no new parts.
This IFixIt solution shows installation of a new evaporating clip that extends down into the area where the ice dam forms and presumably keeps a dam from forming in the future by melting the dam each time the evaporator coil cycles in defrost mode to remove ice from the coils themselves. I also wonder if the problem is partially exacerbated by mold growth in the drain hole in the draining well.
DISCLAIMER - I have not performed the repair yet, but am very grateful that the problem and two solutions are now documented. Thanks!!

Problem only resolved for about 6 months post clip replacement. Now every 2 months back to defrosting my refrigerator, under the crisper drawer. Now the entire section of the drain is frozen. Very frustraing.
Here's another video of this replacement. Head over to the refrigerator leaking water wiki for more fixes for freezing lines.
