Esta guía le mostrará cómo reemplazar uno o ambos ventiladores en el Aero 14 o 15w/x. He utilizado un 15w para esta guía, que es prácticamente el mismo a excepción de la pantalla, GPU, y el adaptador de corriente (ninguno de los cuales son relevantes para esta guía).

Usa una herramienta de plástico, o algo de cabeza plana en la sección larga inferior, y gradualmente levantaa el panel a medida que levantas los lados.

No hay tornillos, aunque debería de haber unas tiras de adhesivos manteniéndolo.

Desatornilla los 10 tornillos Philips #1 y desconecta los cables

Retira los tornillos Philips #00 de cualquier ventilador que esté reemplazando y retírelo del adhesivo (puedes intentar colocar el nuevo ventilador al adhesivo, pero no es necesario)

Es recomendable que reapliques la pasta termica

I have the new design of this laptop (gigabyte AERO 15 OLED YA, the one with the doubble hinges)… and i was wondering if the fans are the same as the ones in the tuto or not…
one of mine is broken ( I suspect a broken bearing) and i want to replace them.

I couldn’t find any information on the newer models. The model numbers should be on the backside of the fans if you remove the assembly (I listed the model numbers of the fans for this one in the parts section).
Even if they aren’t the same, the merchant might still have them.

Hey ! I just bought the Philips screwdrivers and the fan assembly is not the same as yours. I have 2 more heat pipes, the batterie is more on the right and the secondary ssd is on the left side of the batterie.
I’ll first clean my fans ( totally full of dirt/dust) while installed. I have to work on the machine. I’ll respond to this post with the model numbers for the newer gen versions.

Can this fan repair still be applied to Aero Gigabyte 17 inch laptop? I hear clicking or grinding with my fans. I used Air Duster spray to help remove excess dust. I’m also using a laptop cooler to help cool my laptop just in case.
