-
Conecta la pantalla y después a la batería. Enciende y prueba.
you need to recalibrate your batery to disply the correct status: https://help.ifixit.com/article/265-batt...

Thanks for sharing! What device can be used for welding the parts? I don’t want to damage the cells of the battery in this proces?
Also will the new battery will be displayed as 100% in the settings menu?
You need a welding machine as shown in the video to finish the job. And you will get the same battery health as before.

No need for a welding machine according to this youtube vid (see around 2 mins in). Just a cheap soldering iron can be used.

Now you gave ideas to apple to make the BMS module like the one from laptops: once you disconnected the cell it will require re-programming (which is not possible because of a security key) :)
Isn’t this pointless as the battery health would still read the same as before or is there a way to change the battery health back to 100%
Good question. I used JC B1 to change cycles to 0 and batteryhealth to 102%. it shows the changes on 3Utools, but not on the iPhone XS, so i am also curious about it

There is a way to program the chip using reader/writer. However doing this for yourself might save you few $$ but as far as battery goes, user should contact Apple Store or Apple Authorized Repair facility. Because the repair shop will charge pretty much same price as original so why bother? I just provide genuine battery and I may make less but saves tons of headache doing this.
What exactly does the battery activation board do and why is that needed? Does it reset the battery health? Can’t you just reprogram the charging cycles and battery health of the battery using something like a QianLi iCopy plus? Thanks in advance
Have an iPhone X and need battery replacement. I jailbreak and don’t want Apple to do it for fear they’ll update. A wipe, no problem. I backup. But if they update the phone I am SOL.
If I buy a iPhone X battery from ifixit then I don’t need to worry about BMS?
I have replaced batteries in the X7 and 8+ for friends. But worry about the error message.
Every battery in each iPhone is paired with that specific phone: if you want to replace it and do not get the BMS, you MUST copy the pairing info from the original to the new one (there are some boards that do this for batteries and screens), or you MUST follow this guide to keep the original battery chip and replace only ther battery cell.
Does anyone knows where to buy the batteries without bms?
Thank
