The Sony VAIO VPCF 132FX is a laptop. It fell just shy of the desktop replacement category average (2:30), with a battery life of 2 hours and 25 minutes. The battery specifications led people to believe that the laptop was too expensive. This laptop was part of the VAIO family. Like many devices in that family, this device was also a well-performing multimedia device.

The Sony VAIO VPCF 132 FX laptop has a black exterior and silver interior, with a built-in webcam. It can be distinguished from other models because of its 16.4″ widescreen. It is bigger than other VAIO models. A numeric keypad can be found on the right side of the keyboard. The model number is located in the display bezel area. The device has a full set of connectors. There is an HDMI input and an eSATA input on the left side of the laptop. The side with the power button has two USB ports and input ports for a microphone and headphones. This device is not to be confused with the VAIO VPCS 132 FX/S, which is the smaller, silver version.
