Background:
VAIO is a brand consisting of personal computers and consumer electronics, currently developed by Japanese manufacturer VAIO Corporation.
VAIO was formerly a brand of Sony, introduced in 1996. In 2014, Sony created VAIO Corporation with the investment firm Japan Industrial Partners. This is a special purpose company which currently sells computers in the United States, Japan, India, and Brazil.
On February 4th, 2014, Sony sold its VAIO PC business (due to poor sales). Japan Industrial Partners purchased a 95% stake in the VAIO division in March, 2014.
The new major features for the Sony VAIO SVE14A26CGH consisted of an optional touchscreen, a light sensor to automatically change screen brightness and enable the backlit keyboard, fast USB 3.0 connectivity, a hybrid graphics system that combines the power of the AMD Radeon 7670M GPU with integrated intel graphics, an HD camera powered by Exmor, and lastly the rapid wake + eco feature which allows you to resume work from sleep mode in 2 second or less, and automatically save data when put to sleep.
Today, this device can still be used for text editing, web browsing, and video streaming. With the combination of the i5, i7, and hybrid graphic system this computer can be used for mild gaming, and higher end photo/video editing. Though this computer originally released with windows 7/8, it can work with Windows 11 with appropriate drivers and CPU upgrade.

Identification:
Sony VAIO devices can be identified by examining the back panel, battery, AC adapter, and the system information on the laptop. You can find other VAIO labels on the device.
These areas will have the VAIO logo, and the system manufacturer in system information will be labeled as VAIO Corporation.
The serial number can be found on the bottom of a VAIO computer, below a white bar code.
