Lenovo Legion Y7000P Repair

The Lenovo Legion Y7000 is a gaming laptop designed by Lenovo. It was released in its only configuration in 2019.

The Lenovo Legion Y7000P is a gaming laptop in Lenovo’s Legion series, designed for high-performance gaming and resource-intensive applications. It is equipped with an Intel Core processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX or GTX graphics cards, and several RAM configuration options to support various workloads. The laptop screen is 1440x1080p and has refresh rate options from 60 - 144 Hz.

To manage thermal performance, the Y7000P incorporates Lenovo’s Legion Coldfront cooling system, which includes multiple heat pipes and dual fans to stabilize temperatures. The laptop keyboard is RGB-backlit. Other features include anti-ghosting technology, multiple USB and HDMI ports for connectivity, and support for high-speed storage options such as NVMe SSDs.

The chassis is built with a combination of metal and plastic, and the laptop includes Nahimic 3D audio and Lenovo Vantage, which allows users to optimize system performance. With its hardware configuration and feature set, the Y7000P is designed to handle gaming, content creation, and other performance-intensive tasks.

The easiest way to identify the Legion Y7000 is with the sticker located on the bottom of the laptop, on the left side in the center. The sticker includes the name and model number of the laptop as well as some labeled warnings.

The laptop has the legion logo on the top and bottom and a very large center hinge. There are large grilles on the bottom to allow for airflow, and the shell of the laptop is silver aluminum.
