The Lenovo G510 is a laptop that is part of Lenovo’s G series of Ideapad laptops. The G510 was released in 2014 for use by businesses, educational institutes, and individuals. The laptop originally sold for 500 Euros with Windows 8.1 preinstalled and for 440 Euros with no operating system preinstalled. The G510 comes with features such as a webcam, an Ethernet port, USB 3.0 ports, and a replaceable battery. The G510 also was sold with various configurations featuring an Intel i3, i5, or i7 CPU, 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB of memory, and a 500 GB or 1 TB hard drive preinstalled.

Currently, the G510 is still supported by Lenovo through their PC support website. The G510 also has cross-compatible parts with the G500 and G505 variants of this laptop.

The Lenovo G510’s model number can be found on a sticker to the left of the trackpad. If the sticker is not present, check to see if the keyboard has a dedicated number pad on the right site, as this can indicate if your laptop is the G4xx or G5xx series. The model number can also be found in the system settings of your operating system.
