	The Canon PowerShot G3 is the third iteration in the Canon's G-Series portable cameras. The G3 model continued with the G-series' distinctive flip-out and secondary, top mounted LCD screens.

== Identificación y antecedentes ==

La Canon PowerShot G3 es la tercera iteración de las cámaras portátiles de la serie G de Canon. El modelo G3 continuó con las distintivas pantallas desplegables y secundarias LCD montadas en la parte superior de la serie G.

El G3 tiene una resolución de 4 megapíxeles y flash incorporado. Es compatible con USB y utiliza almacenamiento de datos flash compacto. Exclusivo del G3 y sus sucesores, Canon agregó un filtro incorporado de densidad neutra, lo que hace que las imágenes tomadas con estos modelos estén menos oscurecidas por las condiciones de luz excesiva.
