Saved my Macbook

Mi Problema

My Macbook fell off a desk and the LCD must have cracked inside. I basically could not see anything on the screen but the computer ran fine when connected to an external monitor.

Mi Solución

I got the replacement LCD panel quickly, and I actually had a friend who is computer savvy to help me with the replacement. I wound up fixing everything for $150 when my local apple repair shop (out of warranty) was charging me close to $600 for the repair.

Mi Consejo

I was lucky to have a close friend help me fix the screen, but I am pretty sure that the help manuals ifixit provides are clear enough for anyone to take the jump and do it yourself.
