MB and DC-In Board replacement

Mi Problema

I bought a Mac book pro knowing the MB was bad and knew I could get a new MB via internet at a decent price. Bought both and watched a video from iFixit. The steps were right on.

Mi Solución

Before I ordered the DC-In board, I replaced the MB. All went smoothly but the battery would not charge. Having the power connected kept the battery from draining but would not charge it. I bought the new DC-In board from iFixit, followed the instructions and everything went smoothly. Powered it up and the battery started charging.

Mi Consejo

The repair guide shows disassembly but not reassembly, which makes sense because reinstalling in reverse should work, but the Ribbon cable is extremely difficult to get back in. I wish there were a video or "easy way" shown. Please make sure you have patience tank is full before attempting this repair!
