iPod 4th Gen Battery Replacement

Mi Problema

Battery would not stay charged for any meaningful length of time.

Mi Solución

I used the instructions per the iFixit repair manul. The battery replacement went well except for one step:

iPod originial repair

iPod 4th generation or photo

Battery

Rear panel

Recommend the following be added to step 8:

"The ribbon is conntected to a connector which is connected to another connecter attached to the circuit board. Be careful not to pull up so that both connectors are detached from the circuit board. "

I was successful in changing the battery and the iPod worked as advertised after I charged up the new battery. Thanks
