Mi Problema
The darn thing switched off nearly a year ago, I didn't realize the charger had broken off in the computer b/c it still lit up, and I didn't really mess with it b/c I'd recently come into another laptop. Finally decided to try and get my music off of it and found that darn charger tip in there.
Mi Solución
After getting, ahem, aggressive to get the tip out I found the new charger I'd bought didn't work. On a hunch, ordered a new dc-in board and it works like a dream. On top of that despite choosing the longest/cheapest shipping time, I kid you not the part showed up in one day.

use i fix it for everything. That's my advice
