Hard drive replacement. Upgraded to SSD.

Lots of error messages that my HD was starting to go bad. Could not be fixed with software, namely my Tech Tool Pro.

Getting the glue separated from between the frame and the display was by far the most meticulous part of the repair. It just plain takes time and patience. The rest of the repair went very smoothly. The tools provided, including the foam wedge, the plastic case for the 2.5 inch SSD that I put in were perfect. The glue strips provided were also perfect. In fact I don't see how the kit you provided could be improved upon. The step by step repair guide was superb. I enjoyed the fix immensely since I am an 80 year old retiree and always need something to do

Mi Consejo

Might need a second person to hold a flashlight when putting back the display panel connectors when putting everything back together. Peeling off the old glue strips takes time but is easy.
