My daughter dropped her Kindle on the ice shattering the glass screen. She didn't want to lose all the data she'd acquired so purchasing a new tablet wasn't an option.
Mi Solución
Initially I was a little intimidated at the instructions, however they were step by step and offered great photos to assist with clarity. It was a little confusing following the instructions in reverse when putting it all back together. Overall, this repair was not too difficult. It took us about 1.5 hours from start to finish.
Mi Consejo
This job is easier with one person performing the repair and one narrating instructions.
Be sure to get the instructions off the Web as they don't come in the repair kit.
When removing each of the pieces be sure to label each part and correlating set of screws so that it's easier when putting the the tablet back together.
A magnetic set of tweezers is really helpful in manipulating the small screws.
