iMac Intel 27" EMC 2546 Adhesive Strips Replacement

30 minutos - 2 horas

Moderate

Mi Problema

To replace my 2639 iMac (27" late 2013) HDD with Samsung 850 PRO SSD

Mi SoluciĆ³n

It went smooth, thanks to iFixit guides, videos, and tools

Mi Consejo

Take your time to plan and prepare for it, handle the screen with extra care, no need to completely remove the left speaker if you plan to replace the HDD; only moving it a little after unscrewing it will do the job.

Hi Ahmed, I have a question. Did you need to change any cables for the ssd upgrade? I installed the 850 EVO myself with success but black magic gives me subpar writing speeds (about 250 I think). I wonder if it needs a different sata cable
