fun with fan

Mi Problema

The left fan of my macbook pro stopped working...

Actually it first started to make A LOT of noise (more or less like a tractor).

Than suddenly the noise stopped, I was relived,... but just a few second after I noticed that the fan completely stopped spinning... Panic.

Mi Solución

The operation lasted 20 minutes (around), I had to be very careful to not loose all the screws. So I used tape to block them on the table. Nothing special. The iFixit guide was clear and good enough for anyone (I found more tape than in the pictures... and would have been nice to have know how to unplug some small connections). But everything gone nicely ;)

Mi Consejo

Not much advice, it is very convenient use a small piece of tape for each step to separate different kind of screws for each picture in the guide. At the end just follow the guide backwards eliminating a piece of tape at time, so you'll not forget to put on some screws!
