iPhone will not restore after restore from jaibreak

After i restored and upgraded my iphone 3gs from 4.2 to 5.1 it started searching for signal and then told me i needed to activate my iphone. Now it is stuck in dfu mode and will not restore

I think you can get out of DFU by following the steps in reverse

Also search iphone force restore steps on google- that might also help
