Laptop does not turn on from power button.

Hello so i have this laptop:

Asus fx505dd with ryzen 5 and gtx1050

The problem is that the laptop does not turn on from power button.

It only powers on when i disconnect the cmos battery and connect the power supply.

I checked the button itself with multimeter and it is working fine. Also i dont have battery plugged in because its broken (does not charge) i also have boardview for this specific motherboard and on pin 5 and 6 is the pwr button but shorting it does nothing it still acts the same. Any help finding the culprit?
