@kmclitus you aren't telling us what you have tried an what you have checked. First you want to check your charger. Make sure it has the proper voltage. Check to make sure that the connectors are not bend etc. Check the charging port for you phone. Make sure there is no corrosion, debris etc. that prevents it from working. Clean it of any debris etc, use a few puffs of air to clean it out. Next you could try an ammeter and see if your phone draws any amperage from the charger. After that, you need to check and see if your motherboard even gets power. For that of course, you need to open it up. Post Some good pictures of what you see. That way we can see what you see. You can measure the charging port contacts on the charging board, and see if it gets power. Check the flex cable for the charging board and make sue there are not rips or tears. After that, replace the battery. Measure the voltage on your battery connector and see what that vorlage is with a new battery and with the charger plugged in. You should get two different voltages.

Of course, before doing all of this you also want to make sure that you try a reset. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR PHONE BACKED UP SINCE YOU MAY LOSE YOUR FILES (pictures/music/contacts etc.) To do this you will need to:

  1. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons until you see the LG logo.
  2. Wait a few seconds.
  3. Release the Power button, keep holding the Volume Down button.
  4. Navigate to Yes and confirm with the Power button.
  5. Navigate to Yes again and confirm with the Power button.

Since ifixit does not yet have any specific guides for this, use something like this video

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has a device with the same issues as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
