@mooon1273 what you are describing sounds like a bad switch. The 500Bt should disassemble the same way as your 520BT and since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for this, use something like this video Once you have it opened, check the switch with a multimeter for continuity when turned on. You can also apply a jumper and se if that resolves the issue.

While you work on your headphones, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
