Random menu options appear and disappear during monsoon

During monsoon, my TV automatically shows display mode menu or HD demo mode without pressing any button. I'm thinking this could be because of moisture in the climate or on walls. But how can I prevent this from happening. Since the menu keeps popping up every second, I cannot perform other operations easily.
