Broken flex keyboard dont Work

Broken flexor. Keyboard dont work

I was cleaning my 2019 MacBook Pro 16 and I changed the thermal paste, but I think I broke a cable and the connector of another one where the flex cable goes. The point is that my keyboard doesn't work, it lights up but doesn't register any key, the Touch Bar works im from México my keyboard hace the ñ Character

"I've seen this cable online, but I'm not sure if it's the one that provides the keyboard input."

Ouch! You've got a lot of damage here!

The 1st image is your keyboard connection but we can't see the connection side as your finger is on the cover flap. You'll need to take a second image so we can see the contacts of both the cable end as the logic board connector.

The second image based on the part number is the TouchID flex cable P/N 821-02317. Here's one source TheBookYard UK - MacBook Pro 16" Touch ID Flex Cable

Jumping to the third image we have a damaged fan cable which will require a new fan unit MacBook Pro 16" (2019) Right Fan. it also looks like the port cabe is also damaged MacBook Pro (A1989, A1990, A2141, A2159, A2251, A2289, A2338 Mid 2018-2022) USB-C Board

Images 4 & 5 are repeat images

The keyboard lights up, only the connector of the flex cable broke, but it doesn't detect any key. Could it be because of that connector that applies pressure? Is there a repair for this case? The Touch ID doesn't work, but the fan is functional.

@rodrigorica3074 - The keyboard backlight uses a different connection than the keyboards data connections don't get distracted by that. The ZIF latch (lock) needs to be present it compresses the cable into the sockets contacts. So it sounds like you lost the latch then. You'll need to look for it around your work area as it can fly off a good meter! If you can't find it to put back on or you damaged it you'll need to get a replacement logic board connector to then carefully slide off the latch to put onto your logic board connector. You will need to replace the TouchID cable and the fan unit doesn't look that good. While the fan may run there is a tachometer within it that the circuitry on the cable is dependent on. it looks too damaged to be functional. The last cable connection is the USB-C port cable connector is missing! I see the cut cable end not the connector. I suspect in the process of taking the bottom cover off the cable was cut. Look at the parts images above to compare to yours.

Yes, that’s the correct connector. Remember, you only need to pop off the latch to put onto you logic board connector.
