So I dropped my nokia xr21 and the fingerprint sensor stopped working and biometric options completely dissapeared after restarting the device. I'm hoping the sensor's cable just got disconnected instead of needing to replace it. Either way, if anyone has experience dissasembling the phone and pointing out the right way to do it without causing damage and which cable to check, would be amazing :)

I didn't find much information specific to the fingerprint sensor, but there is a teardown video of your phone that shows how to get to the power button and explains how to replace it. The part you're interested in is at about 7:20 into the video.

If you end up replacing your power button, be sure to take lots of pictures as you work then later you can use those to create your own guide to lead the way for people who come after you with the same problem. It's easy, fun, and will earn you the gratitude of the iFixit community.
