I have got the hair dryer er from US as a gift, but unknowingly I connected without using the converter. I could see a spark after a min. Since then the hot dry is not working. Kindly suggest me a repair unit to get it fixed. I love in Bangalore, India.

If it doesn't heat at all, the element is open. Best to just replace it with a 220V unit rather than fixing a 110V unit and having another accident. Element are very difficult to replace because wires are actually welded because they are so close to the heat.
