Haven't been able to find videos or descriptions of how to replace the battery for a HTC 2.0 Vive Tracker. Nor have I been able to find what part I'd need.
Would be helpful to know where I could get a replacement for the battery and knowledge of how to open and replace it.

I had to order replacement batteries from AliExpress. I know, but they have them when even Amazon doesn't. I tried contacting HTC directly as well but they gave me the run around and wanted me to purchase whole new trackers or "send it in for warranty" at my own expense.

I'll be writing up a guide on how to replace the batteries shortly. It's fairly simple once you get them apart.

Hello @agreentheg72697, were you able to get those batteries to work? Since I'd purchased some from Aliexpress before, not those specifically but they wouldn't fit and the wire was a bit shorter then the original batteries.
@kaiju12 Hi. Yes, the ones I listed did work. They were the right size and the cable was the correct length. I took pictures for a guide but they came out terrible. I'll redo the process again after Thanksgiving. 👍
