Does it turn off like you turn it off by the key or more like it is running out of gaas? Every little bit of detail is important since you are our eyes and ears. You need to see and hear for us and tell us what you see and hear.

This sounds like issues with either an onboard computer or a short circuit. First thing I would do is to have the vehicle scanned. Let us know if there are any error codes that may come up.
