Missing resistors after battery replacement

Block Image

Hello!

I've replaced the battery in the phone and after booting I find that the phone is not charging properly (basically the phone has no info about the battery capacity) and also reboots occasionally (once every 2-3 minutes during charging). On closer inspection, I found that I had accidentally removed some resistors (red crosses in the picture) when unplugging the battery connector.

So I googled a bit and found info that the phone might possibly work without some of them. Also if I put jumper on 1 slot (1 on pic) it will solve my problem, so I did. Now the phone can see battery charge and doesn't restart while charging.

But some glitches occur: the phone can read battery capacity and it fullness only after i restart it (While it's charging u can't see percentage increasing or decreasing when in use. It just freezes). And I had a couple of restarts after 5 - 10 mins when trying to watch youtube. However, when I'm not using heavy apps it works just fine. So my question is: Is it possible to fix the phone without going to a service centre?

Contesta esta pregunta Yo también tengo este problema

Es esta una buena pregunta?

@alex61911 sorry, but not a single resistor. The capacitors are all the same. Here you go:

Reference Designator FL11 is a 120-OHM-210MA inductor in a 01005 package

Reference Designator C279 is a 56PF 5% 16V capacitor in a 01005 package

Reference Designator C23 is a 56PF 5% 16V capacitor in a 01005 package

Reference Designator C25 is a 56PF 5% 16V capacitor in a 01005 package

Reference Designator C9 is a 56PF 5% 16V capacitor in a 01005 package

Reference Designator C22 is a 56PF 5% 16V capacitor in a 01005 package

For the capacitors something like this will work. Yes, it is a 50V capacitor but in this case the V does not matter. You can always go higher but never lower. It is the capacitance that needs to match. Something like this will work for the Ferrite Bead. These are just examples and you can most certainly get those parts at many other places as well.

"So I googled a bit and found info that the phone might possibly work without some of them" probably will, but then why would APple (Greedy Company) install those components. Apple does not like to waste money and they would safe money by not installing unnecessary components.

.I am definitely not as smart as the engineers that developed this, so I take their word for it. A good repair will be to replace the missing components.
